SUMMARY:CACC business meeting at SAIT
DESCRIPTION:Please RSVP to me if you plan on attending our September 12th meeting. \nIt will be at SAIT and features a special demonstration on Wagashi\, a form of Japanese sweets/confections\, presented by Mariko and Chris Thomson. \nThis demo starts at 6:00 pm sharp in the John Ware building\, room E 212\, the demonstration theatre- check-in at the cafeteria for directions if required. \n  \nWhen this event is finished (roughly 6:30 pm)\, we move to the cafeteria\, one floor below\, also known as the Hospitality House\, for some food. \nWe will then have a special presentation by ColdChase. \nColdChase Inc.\, (www.coldchase.ca) is an Alberta technology company ; they would like to introduce their  cutting-edge Temperature Monitoring System tailored specifically for the food industry and professionals like you.\nThe system closely monitors temperature\, humidity and location conditions during storage and transportation; this mitigates the risk of costly food wastage. This proactive approach contributes to significant cost savings as well as incorporates preventative maintenance into your operations; they believe that innovation should be accessible to all\, and their system is designed to provide robust monitoring capabilities at a fraction of the cost of traditional solutions.\nColdChase will be presented by Rosy Amlani\, CEO. \nWe will wave the door fee for any and all students. \nOur regular $20 door fee applies for entry. \nShould you want further information please do not hesitate to contact me. \nHave a wonderful day. \nYours in cooking\, \nBlake. \n\nBlake Chapman\, \nSecretary\, CACC \nC 403-652-6462
